Happy Birthday Dylan! Seven years old!

It's been awhile since our last update (a year to be exact). We are blessed to be celebrating
Dylan's 7th birthday. It was an interesting year. Dylan is doing great.Dylan and Gianna both
graduated kindergarten in June. They're getting ready for the first grade.

We visited the Padre Pio Center in Barto for the Our Lady of Fatima statue pilgrimage a few
weeks ago. We'll be going to visit Ray this week as well.

We've been discussing taking down Dylan's site (for a few reasons that I'd rather not get into).
However, we have decided to keep it up for the time being. Many many people have told us
that they have found hope in Dylan's story at a time when they found no hope elsewhere.
Dylan's story is a testimony to God's goodness and His power, and the possibilities that open
up for us when we put our hope not in earthly things, but in God. We are just so grateful for
each and every day. Life is a gift, and we are thankful for each day that God gives us.

On a sad note, there's a little boy named Cristian Rivera who passed on in January of this
year. Please visit his
site. His father, John, is starting a foundation in Cristian's name to raise
money for diffuse pontine glioma research. I met John just a few times, but I saw in him
someone who would've fought his way through the depths of hell if it could've saved his son.
His love for his son is inspiring, and I ask that you visit his site and offer your prayers for the
success of his foundation.

I will try to get around to posting some updated pictures in the coming weeks.
For now, thanks so very much for your continued support and prayers.
God bless.
